Scholarships available for Ohio accounting majors

The Ohio Society CPA Foundation is committed to supporting Ohio’s future CPAs through the annual college scholarship program. Applications are now being accepted for the 2009 award year. Application materials must be postmarked on or before Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 to be eligible for consideration. Read the eligibility requirements and complete an application today.

In the Spotlight: A day in the life of an accounting intern

Meet Valbona Bushi, a recent graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In the fall, she plans to go back to Case to work on a master’s degree so she will have the necessary 150 hours to sit for the CPA exam. But before going back to class, Valbona has been busy this summer getting real-world experience.
